did some further tests with RandomSpread to Mesh/VertextBuffer. but the results are a little bit annoying and not what i want.
so some help would be very nice :)

shot from the hip (and the back of my head): @sven did a SeparateFaces module. don’t know if that helps…
oh man, thats clever shit - tried something similar for my own but gave up after 2 hours messing with triangles.

then on the other hand using the Normals (EX9.Geometry Mesh) node (see helppatch!) with smoothing angle = 0 would allow you to do similar things probably as you have separate normals for every face and can therefore explode the object along its normals.

concerning the normals. this is a patch joreg did for me in a cheesy motel in oxnard/california…hahaha
pretty simple and clean.
