unfortunately, this happened more than 5 times now. i was working on a bigger patch and stopped to do some thinking, then i made a mouse action and -plop- vvvv was gone…
i cannot reproduce it, because it happens randomly.
so for now this is just a remainder to SAVE OFTEN!
will try to work with vvvv started with delphi debugger to track it down…
thx for this warning!!!
didn’t have this by now but now i’m sensitized…
is there any chance to disable the quicknode feature ;-)
edit: thanks for pointing out. and of course it is a useful feature.
had this also 3 times now with timeliner. but then there is some kind of error message before. if i click ‘ok’ vvvv also disapears…
that explains it almost.
and calms me.
well, that was yesterday, the other crashes where without timeliner…
dunno if it can help you to debuggggg:
no crash at all on a new desktop pc (E7300 /2G ram/2 Nvidia 8400GS)
with a timeliner patch
many random crash on my laptop (E6600 / 2 G ram / 1 Nvidia 8600mGT)
with or without timeliner
hmm, makes it rather more mysterious…
no bug here, full videoram causing swaping on ebil macbook was the reason for the crash.
