All patches fies in the Sound directory quit out

I’m just learning about VVVV and discovered that it’s capable of granular synthesis and a lot of other interesting sound-related things.

However, despite being able to run these at work, when I try them on my XP Vaio (running DirectX 9.0c 4.09.0000.0904) they quit immediately and shut down VVVV. Has anyone else had a similar problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

As a side note, the Vaio has a perfectly good sound card I use to write music with using various other apps, so I know it’s nothing too ridiculous!

there is a problem with the WavePlayer node in the beta14 release. please wait for our next release or try with beta13.1.
