AddFlow3.ocx is missing

Helo.

i tried to start vvvv the 1st time on a new xp system.
some programs are installed (NOT 3DSMAX!)

no vvvv. but this error message:

AddFlow3.ocx version 3.0.41.0 is missing
make sure its in the \bin directory

but its already in the \bin.

i downloaded the addflow3.exe from lasalle.com (as mentioned from joreg in one of the addflow-related discussions) after the installation i can “draw graphs” in the addflow-sample…
but still the same error message.
and no vvvv

somebody an idea?

sounds like vvvv.exe cannot access AddFlow3.ocx. did you really extract the .zip?

uhm yes, unzipped!

this is a chinese windows. are there any known problems with a chinese system?

vvvv and the folders are written with latin letters but the other directories are written with chinese signs. hm. this shouldnt be the problem?

i have to run vvvv on this computer so i will install win7 (english) and will try again.

i found the problem.

if there are chinese signs in the path of the vvvv- directory the error message pops up.

i think it would be the same with korean or japanese signs…
