This one gives me an unrelated? exception on startup. Editing the Nodelist manually solved this.

aight. got it. kindof. beta>27.1 has a new commandline option:
/ms-surface
which needs to be declared when running vvvv on the microsoft surface hardware. this enables a workaround that ignores certain HID devices that would cause vvvv to crash on startup without further notice.
