However, I could doubble click on the SamplePath and only then I see the other version!

I think it is “When in doubt show pin choices”
Yes seems to be the cause. I have that disabled. When enabling it the overload doesn’t show up. @gregsn?

But I agree that in the pin-choice workflow, you should get some feedback that there are pins to opt-in.
