It doesn’t work because the comport is a DynamicEnum. Check DynamicEnum and DynamicEnumDefinition in the help browser. Make sure to have Include Low Level Nodes enabled.

What is the best way to select ComPort by string (for example, I want to connect to COM4 and want to type that manually)?
