Have any advice for a New System Build?

Thanks for the suggestion xd_nitro… since I already have VGA cables run that would be the cheapest route. I think that GeForce cards come with a dvi to vga adapter. This might be the way to go…

Analogue TH2GO tend to have a bit of a weak signal coming out of them and will struggle to do long runs. Just be aware of this and do plenty of testing with you cables before the gig. Dropping down to 800x600x3 can help with long runs too.

So originally I was looking for a pre-built system but any company which builds systems with the specs I wanted for <$2k has some horrific reviews. So I’m building up this puppy from scratch lets hope everything is compatible…

I ended up settling on a Core i7 930, GeForce 465, 2 SSD drives and 6 gig triple channel memory…

I still haven’t decided how I’m going to run the wires, but I’ll figure something out…

Hello,

Sounds good.
I would recommend you to avoid the Intel CPU heatsink.
Have a look to Noctua CPU heatsink NH-U12P SE2.

Actually the one thing I forgot to list was a CoolIT ECO-R120
